Some of our Secondary and Primary students attended a Knights and Castles workshop

October 10, 2022

Last week some of our Secondary and Primary students attended a Knights and Castles workshop, delivered by Nick from Dan-tastic Education, to support our class and English topics. Nick was great with the students and adapted his sessions according to the students’ needs. They all enjoyed trying on bits of armour, holding a real sword, playing medieval games, seeing a bow and arrow fired and dancing to medieval music. The students asked some great questions such as ‘did the horses wear armour?’ Some of comments from the students, such as ‘I felt like a king’ and ‘I liked dancing and holding things from the past’ showed how enlightening they found their session. Even the staff also got involved in the dressing-up!
